The Stock Show Trendsetters Story
Stock Show Trendsetters was founded with one simple mission: to tell the stories of the people who make the livestock industry so special.
Founded in 2024 by Abigail Horning, SST began as a creative way to remain connected to an industry that had played a significant role in shaping her life. What started as a online storytelling platform quickly evolved into something much larger. As more stories were shared, it became evident that the individuals within the livestock industry deserved more than a brief social media post.

With no prior experience in publishing or design and while working full-time in the automotive industry, Stock Show Trendsetters was launched with the vision of creating a timeless, high-quality publication that readers would proudly display on their coffee tables, revisit for years to come, and pass down to future generations.
Today, Stock Show Trendsetters is a nationwide quarterly publication reaching readers in all 48 lower states. Beyond its direct reach, copies of SST continue to be shared and passed along throughout the industry, with some secondhand magazines even making their way to readers in Australia. Each edition features inspiring interviews, industry articles, business spotlights, and unique segments designed to celebrate the people, businesses, and moments that make the livestock community unlike any other.
More than a magazine, Stock Show Trendsetters has become a community built on relationships, storytelling, and a shared passion for preserving the stories that deserve to be told.
